Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy has been developed taking into account the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the movement of such data, and other applicable regulations, in order to guarantee at all times the fundamental right to data protection.

The data that you provide us with as a web user and/or that are collected through forms of the INTERNATIONAL AND IBERO-AMERICAN FOUNDATION FOR PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND POLICY, F.S.P. are for the purpose of maintaining the relationship that you have or require with our organisation. Data processing, purpose and lawfulness

The personal data that may be collected directly from the data subject will be incorporated into the corresponding processing activity owned by the INTERNATIONAL AND IBERO-AMERICAN FOUNDATION FOR PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND POLICY, F.S.P.

The processing activities carried out by the INTERNATIONAL AND IBERO-AMERICAN FOUNDATION FOR PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND POLICY, F.S.P. and the purposes for which they are carried out are set out in its Register of Processing Activities.

Why do we process your personal data?

We process personal data for the following purposes:

  • To fulfill our mission of managing international development cooperation projects in the participation of twinning projects, delegated grant cooperation, technical assistance: mobilisation of experts, security and justice projects organised by the INTERNATIONAL AND IBERO-AMERICAN FOUNDATION FOR PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND PUBLIC POLICY, F.S.P.
  • To send information and newsletters about the programmes of the INTERNATIONAL AND IBERO-AMERICAN FOUNDATION FOR PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND PUBLIC POLICY, F.S.P. by electronic means, even when our relationship has ended, unless the person concerned states otherwise.
  • To invite to acts/events and/or conferences organised by the INTERNATIONAL AND IBERO-AMERICAN FOUNDATION FOR PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND PUBLIC POLICY, F.S.P.
  • To respond to requests for consultation, information.
  • The photographs and videos, images taken during the different events, may be used for dissemination through publications, on websites, social networks, etc.
  • For the maintenance, development and execution of a contractual relationship that we maintain with you, in the case of: (i) provision of services; (ii) employment, commercial, administrative, among others.

Legitimate basis for processing

The processing of your personal data is legitimate in the execution and maintenance of the contractual relationship maintained between you and the INTERNATIONAL AND IBERO-AMERICAN FOUNDATION FOR PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND POLICY, F.S.P. Additionally, it is also legitimised by your express consent, granted at the time of the collection of the personal data that you voluntarily provide us with through the mechanisms/forms provided on the website.

The processing of your personal data for additional processing such as sending information about activities, newsletters about programmes, activities and/or holding events and conferences of the INTERNATIONAL AND IBERO-AMERICAN FOUNDATION FOR PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND POLICY, F.S.P., responds to a legitimate interest of our organisation and to your consent provided in the informative legal clause included in the form for collecting your data.

Transfer to third parties and data retention

Your personal data are the full responsibility of the INTERNATIONAL AND IBERO-AMERICAN FOUNDATION FOR PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND POLICY, F.S.P. and may be transferred to third parties by legal obligation and in the cases derived from the processing in which you participate to:

  • To the European Commission and to the partners of the specific Consortium of the project (Technical Assistance/Project Secretariat), which in some cases may be located outside the European Economic Area.

We inform you that INTERNATIONAL AND IBERO-AMERICAN FOUNDATION FOR PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND POLICY, F.S.P. will keep the data for the duration of the contractual relationship. In this case, they will be processed for the sole purpose of accrediting compliance with our legal or contractual obligations. At the end of these periods of limitation, your data will be deleted.

In other cases, as long as you do not request their deletion, they will be subsequently blocked for the minimum period required by current legislation and during the applicable legal limitation periods.

International Data Transfers

INTERNATIONAL AND IBEROAMERICAN FOUNDATION FOR ADMINISTRATION AND PUBLIC POLICY, F.S. P may use the services of third party providers that are located outside the European Economic Area in countries that no longer offer an adequate level of protection such as companies adhered to the recently annulled Privacy Shield-USA Agreement (Mailchimp) by the Court of Justice of the EU in July 2020, so you consent to the processing of your data without the appropriate guarantees required by European regulations, in any case, with these companies have signed contracts that safeguard the security of personal data under the terms established in European regulations.

Your personal data may also be communicated to third countries involved in the specific cooperation project in which you participate as a professional expert, even if that country does not have an adequate level of protection. Such international transfer of data is necessary for the execution of the project and by your participation you consent to it.

What are your rights?
